The essence of the military character is manifested in such moral elements as self-respect, self-confidence and a firm belief in the sanctity of the national mission. Some of the most important qualities that must be carried by the military character to come closer to the ideal image and for the sake of integrity are the qualities of: wisdom, courage, high ethics, patience, strong will, justice, chivalry, magnanimity, intelligence, subtlety, sharpness and readiness to sacrifice. Each individual soldier must have a clear mind and must be deeply convinced that patriotism is his real sect and his true family and that the Army is his greater home. He must also be lenient and loving to his fellow soldiers and be humane in dealing and socializing with these fellow soldiers.
Personal experience in the military character is an indispensable element which depends on a certain degree of knowledge- based maturation, openness to knowledge and culture and good understanding. A personal experience which is based on a particular specialization is extremely important in the administrative and professional field.
A successful society is one whose hierarchy is set up on firm basis and sponsored by competent men of high resolve and high morale who are ready to withstand all kinds of adversities and achieve goals without failure.
Addressing the question of morale and its importance in building the individual character, the science of military psychology, quoting the result of a series of tests which have resulted in formulating principles for shaping the distinguished military character, points out that military life in particular, and by its very nature, assumes that certain crucial and solid skills and capabilities are supposed to be possessed by that character. It is further assumed that the character itself is born with the qualities of courage and a readiness to sacrifice to the extent of heroism.
